5th August Market Report

Daily Market Report:

The Indian Equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended in a Record High Yesterday. BSE Sensex was up by 546.41 points to 54369.77 and Nifty up by 128.05 points to 16258.80.

HDFC, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank was the top Gainers.

Nifty Banking index up by 2.33% and Nifty Financial Services index up by 2.59%.

Strong Quarterly Results by Bharti airtel and State bank of India drive the market to record high.

Main Economic indicators like Auto sales volume, Manufacturing data, and GST collection indicates a strong rebound in July.

RBI Policy meeting is going on and it will announce policy decisions on August 6 ( Friday).

SBIN Results ( Q1):

Profit rises 55% to 6,504 Crore

Net interest income(NII) rises 4% YoY

Open interest:

On open interest, Maximum put open interest was seen at 15800 followed by 16000 Maximum call open interest was seen at 16500 followed by 16000

Put Writing seen at 16200 followed by 16100

Call Writing seen at 16500 followed by 16600

India VIX fell 3.89% from 13.75 to 13.21 on a day. Fall in VIX Shows more buying interests in the market.

Participant wise open interest data of FII Shows put selling in the index is more than call selling. FII's were 70 % long in index future was Increased. 

In Cash Market, FII's are net Buyers 2828.57 crores, and DII's are net Sellers are 411.36 crores.

Options data suggests a trading range between 16000 to 16500.

Global Markets:

U.S Markets were Mixed at the end of the Day.

Dow Jones industrial average down 323.73 by points or 0.92% at 34792.67

S&P 500 Index down by 20 points or 0.46% at 4402.66 

Nasdaq Composite up by 19.24 points or 0.13% at 14780.53

European markets were ended in Green.

Most of the Asian Markets are Trading Mixed right now IST 07.30

SGX Nifty trading 25 points Higher at 15285 IST 07.30

SGX Nifty indicates a Flat to Positive opening for Indian markets.
