Daily Market Report:

The Indian Equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 closed Positive at the end of the day. BSE Sensex was up by 514.33 points to 57852.54 and Nifty was up by 157.90 points to 17234.15

Shree Cement, HDFC Life, Cipla were the top Gainers

Analysts expect India's ongoing economic recovery will quickly take India above the pre-pandemic levels in most sectors of the economy

India is the third in the list of countries having the most unicorns, trailing the U. S. and China.

Automobiles stocks are expected to underperform for some time till the chip shortage issues are resolved

Axis Bank raises $600 million via AT1 bonds

Adani Green raises $750 million via green bonds

Indian Oil lists foreign currency bonds on IFSC exchanges

U.S. Initial Jobless Claims at 340 k vs Expected 345 k. Positive for Economy.

Open interest:

On open interest, Maximum put open interest was seen at 16500 followed by 17000. Maximum call open interest was seen at 17000 followed by 17500

Put Writing seen at 17200 followed by 17000.

Call Writing seen at 17200 followed by 17400.

India VIX up by 0.39 % from 14.18 to 14.24 on a day. 

Participant wise open interest data of FII Shows put selling in the index is more than call selling. FII's were 67.91 % long in index future was increased compared to the previous day.

In Cash Market, FII's are net buyers 348.52 crores, and DII's are net buyers 381.70 crores.

Options data suggests a trading range between 17000 to 17500.

Global Markets:

U.S Markets were closed positive at the end of the Day

Dow Jones industrial average was up by 131.29 points or 0.37% at 35443.82 

 S&P 500 Index was up by 12.86 points or 0.28% at 4536.95

Nasdaq Composite was up by 21.80 points or 0.14% at 15331.18

European markets were positive at the end of the day

SGX Nifty trading points 11 lower at 17248   07.30 IST

SGX Nifty indicates a Flat opening for Indian markets.
