Daily Market Report:

The Indian Equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended Positive yesterday. BSE Sensex was up by 209 points to 52,653 and Nifty up by 69 points to 15778.

The Nifty index trading between a wider range of 15450 - 15915 for the past 8 days.

Hindalco, Tata Steel, SBIN were the top gainers. 

Nifty Trend Remains in sideways.

U.S Initial Jobless claims Data 400 k vs Expected 380 k

U.S GDP( Q2) QoQ 6.5% vs Previous 6.4 %

Tech Mahindra Results (Q1):

Consolidated Profit After Tax Rose 25% QoQ to Rs.1353 Crore.

Sales Rise 5%.

Open interest:

On open interest, Maximum put open interest was seen at 15000 followed by 15500

Maximum call open interest was seen at 16000 followed by 16500

Put Writing seen at 15800 followed by 15000

Call Writing seen at 16000 followed by 15800

India VIX Down by 5.46 % percent from 13.69 to 12.90 level. 

Fall in VIX level shows buying interests for investors in the market.

Participant wise open interest data of FII Shows Call selling in the index is more than Put selling.

FII's are 68.71 % long in index future was Increased compared to yesterday's 55.20%.

In Cash Market ,FII's are net sellers - 866.26 crores, and DII's are net buyers are 2046.96 crores.

Options data suggests a trading range between 15500 to 16000.

Global Markets:

U.S Markets were Positive at the end of the day.

Dow Jones industrial average up by 153.60 points or 0.44 % at 35084.53

S&P 500 Index up by 18.51 points or 0.42 % at 4419.15

Nasdaq Composite up by 15.68 points or 0.11 % at 14778.26

European markets were ended in Green.

Most of the Asian Markets are Trading Negative right now IST 07.30

SGX Nifty trading 107 points Lower at IST 07.30

SGX Nifty indicates a Negative opening for Indian markets.
