Daily Market Report:

The Indian Equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex ended negative and Nifty 50 ended positive at the end of the day. BSE Sensex was down by 14.77 points to 55,944.21 and Nifty was up by 10.05 points to 16,634.65

Adani ports, HDFC Life, Hindalco were the top gainers.

TCS market cap crosses Rs.13.5 Lakh crore.

National Stock Exchange (NSE) has directed its members, including stockbrokers, to discontinue the sale of digital gold on their platforms by September10.

US House passed a measure approving a $3.5 trillion budget blueprint 

US central bankers will meet virtually for an annual gathering traditionally held in Jackson Hole in Wyoming.

Jerome H. Powell, the Fed's chair, will speak on Friday and is expected to reveal details about pull back its $120 billion a month bond-buying program by the end of this year.

Open interest:

On open interest, Maximum put open interest was seen at 16500 followed by 16600. Maximum call open interest was seen at 16700 followed by 16800.

Put Writing seen at 16600 followed by 16650

Call Writing seen at 16700 followed by 16750.

India VIX up by 2.35 % from 13.19 to 13.50 on a day. Overall volatility indicates that vix needs to go below 12 for new buying interest.

Participant wise open interest data of FII Shows put selling in the index is more than call selling. FII's were 63.96 % long in index future was decreased compared to the previous day.

In Cash Market, FII's are net sellers 1071.83 crores, and DII's are net sellers 151.39 crores.

Options data suggests a trading range between 16500 to 16750.

Global Markets:

U.S Markets were closed positive at the end of the Day.

Dow Jones industrial average was up by 39.24 points or 0.11% at 35405.50

S&P 500 Index was up by 9.96 points or 0.22% at 4496.19

Nasdaq Composite was up by 22.06 points or 0.15% at 15041.86

European markets were closed flat at the end of the day

SGX Nifty trading 18 points lower at 16605  07.30 IST

SGX Nifty indicates a Flat to Negative opening for Indian markets.
