Daily Market Report:

The Indian Equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended record high at the end of the day. BSE Sensex was up by 209 points to 55792.27 and Nifty up by 51.55 points to 16,614.60

Nifty closed above 16600 for the first time.

Tech Mahindra, Tcs, Nestle India, were the top gainers.

Sebi has reduced the minimum lock-in period for promoters’ investment post an initial public offering (IPO) to 18 months from three years, under certain conditions.

RBI Partially lifts the Technology ban on HDFC Bank allows the sourcing of New credit Cards.

Euro Zone Gross domestic product (GDP) at 2.0% vs Expected 2.0%

U.S. Retail Sales at -1.1% vs expected -0.3%

Open interest:

On open interest, Maximum put open interest was seen at 16500 followed by 16000. Maximum call open interest was seen at 16500 followed by 17000.

Put Writing seen at 16600 followed by 16500.

Call Writing seen at 16600 followed by 17000.

India VIX down up by 0.35% from 13.45 to 13.41 on a day. Overall Lower volatility indicates that bulls are Holding the Market.

Participant wise open interest data of FII Shows put selling in the index is more than call selling. FII's were 64.91 % long in index future was decreased compared to the previous day

In Cash Market, FII's are net sellers 343.73 crores, and DII's are net buyers 266.43 crores.

Options data suggests a trading range between 16400 to 17000.

Global Markets:

U.S Markets were closed Negative at the end of the Day.

Dow Jones industrial average was down by 282.12 points or 0.79% at 35343.28

S&P 500 Index was down by 31.63 points or 0.71% at 4448.08

Nasdaq Composite was down by 137.58 points or 0.93% at 14656.18 

European markets were Mixed at the end of the day

Most of the Asian Markets are trading Positive right now IST 07.30

SGX Nifty trading 24 points Higher at 16627 IST 07.30

SGX Nifty indicates a Positive opening for Indian markets.
