Daily Market Report:

The Indian Equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended flat Yesterday. BSE Sensex was down by 28.73 points to 54525.93 and Nifty up by 2.15 points to 16282.25

Tata Steel was the top gainer.

Profit booking happened in the Banking sector.

Selling pressure was witnessed in small and mid-cap due to some surveillance measures regarding new circuit limit for stocks by BSE but after clarify from BSE, Stocks have recovered.

US Senate on Tuesday passed a $1 trillion infrastructure package.

The consumer price index rose 5.4% in July vs Expected 5.3%

Core Consumer price index ( CPI) rose 0.3% vs previous 0.9% on June. Positive for the Market.

Open interest:

On open interest, Maximum put open interest was seen at 15000 followed by 16000. Maximum call open interest was seen at 16500 followed by 16300

Put Writing seen at 16500 followed by 16100

Call Writing seen at 16500 followed by 16200

India VIX Remains flat at 12.70 to 12.71 on a day. Lower volatility indicates that bulls are Holding the Market.

Participant wise open interest data of FII Shows put selling in the index is more than call selling. FII's were 63.14 % long in index future was decreased. 

In Cash Market, FII's are net buyers 238.14 crores, and DII's are net buyers 206.28 crores.

Options data suggests a trading range between 16100 to 16500.

Global Markets:

U.S Markets were Mixed at the end of the Day.

Dow Jones industrial average up by 220.30 points or 0.62% at 35484.97 

S&P 500 Index up by 10.95 points or 0.25% at 4447.70

Nasdaq Composite down by 22.95 points or 0.16% at 14765.14

European markets were ended in Green at end of the day.

Asian Markets are trading Mixed right now IST 07.30

SGX Nifty trading points 29.50 Higher at 16323.50 IST 07.30

SGX Nifty indicates a positive opening for Indian markets.
